The great success of last years inaugural Olympic Distance O.C. Triathlon at Lake Mission Viejo forces us..... to do it again!! The same challenging and strikingly beautiful race course will be used with slight modifications and improvements. We’ve added the Hero’s Division to honor our Firefighters, Police and Military. Our beneficiaries will again be the Mission Viejo Nadadores and the Saddleback Valley YMCA.
The 2009 O.C. Triathlon will be limited to 900 age group athletes, plus an additional 100 state qualifiers from the Best of the U.S. Series; these athletes, a female and male from each state of the Union, will compete in a separate wave to determine the BOUS United States National Champions and will be crowned the Best amateur athlete in the U.S. Don’t be left out. Sign up early to make sure you get to compete in Orange County’s only Olympic Distance Triathlon. Go to: Register to sign up & get additional information.
